I always love going to Pete's Teriyaki. It's my favorite food location in Fresno. 2 people are able to eat for under or around 20$ and it's a really nice thing in this day and age. We always order the special and we love the sauce that's offered for eat in customers. I've never had a bad experience at this restaurant and you can definitely bet that I'll continue going here for lunch or dinner.
Petes is one of those fabulous places that only the locals seem to know about. There's always a line and the food is always amazing. Special fried chicken, rice, and tempura.
My husband and I just stopped here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. They were very busy but quick. The lady at the counter was so friendly and helpful. The food portion was pretty big and flavorful. I really loved the spicy teriyaki sauce! YUM!
So my GF moved back home from Texas after 18 years, Fridays take the kids out for dinner or order somewhere and have dinner and a movie at home. Last Friday we had Teriyaki Don's and I told her she needs to try Pete's Teriyaki. So we ordered 3 Crispy chicken specials, shrimp & calamari; the family loved the food!!. Don's Teriyaki is good and I wrote a review on them also, but I have to give the Gold to Pete's Teriyaki!!!!. Every single bite was just as good as the first, Freak'n amazing!!! Strongly recommend to everyone looking for that hidden Umami Place. Semper Fi!!
The food here is great! I love the special fried chicken and the chicken teryaki bowls. The place is small and usually has a line so be prepared to wait but it's totally worth it. Or call it in and take it to go. I've never been disappointed.
For a great teriyaki dish Pete's is the place. Fantastic food. I enjoy it more in my own at my own table though.
This is the best Japanese takeout place! I've eaten here since I was little and even when they used to be at their old location. Even if the prices have changed over the years it's still the same great quality and fast service. It's best to order over the phone if you're picking up since they're always super busy. Their beef teriyaki plate is the best way to go.
Friday night, 7pm... Line to the door. Phone continuously busy, can't call in my order. Wait is 20+ minutes... But any place that busy, you know it's good! Pete's Special Fried Chicken is worth all that and so much more.
Food excellent their special chicken with vegetables tempura is an awesome choice. Service is good also quick and painless. Dine in area small but clean most people get food to go. The bathroom is a good size and clean.
Pork teriyaki and the gyozas are my go to. Lots and lots of Gyozas. They are the bomb.
